Issued by: Ralink Technology
Issued on: 2010/3/8

Hsinchu, Taiwan, March 8, 2010 – Ralink Technology Corp. (TAIEX: 3534) today announced that the total revenue for February 2010 reached NT$ 556 million, up 2.9% MoM and up 102.0% YoY.

Continued with the recovery of the global networking industry since the third quarter of last year, especially from the European market, plus the emergence of China’s domestic market, the company stated that even with fewer working days in February due to the Chinese New Year holidays, the monthly unit shipment still hit a record high again. The company sees strong momentum for this year and expects shipments in the first quarter will increase sequentially.

In addition to being well positioned in the networking industry, Ralink is also seeing promising signs in the PC/NB and consumer electronics segments. Launched in the third quarter of last year, the Wi-Fi + Bluetooth combo module now has been broadly adopted by the PC OEMs and has been shipped in this quarter, which is believed to further expand the company’s market share. In the meantime, the company also announced many design-ins at the top tier OEMs in different consumer electronics product lines including printers, projectors and blue-ray DVD players.
