Hsinchu, Taiwan, April 8, 2010 – Ralink Technology Corp. (TAIEX: 3534) today announced that the total revenue for March 2010 reached NT$581 million, up 4.5% MoM and up 91.2% YoY. Revenue for the first quarter in 2010 totaled NT$1,677 million, up 4.2% QoQ and up 98.9% YoY.

 

Continuing with the recovery of the European wireless networking industry, new design-wins in the PC/NB market, plus a strong demand driven by the Consumer Electronics market, especially from Korean and Japanese customers, the company stated that the monthly unit shipment and revenue both hit record highs again.  As the change of the product portfolio and new products launch, the gross margin in the first quarter is expected to be improved sequentially. 

 

Ralink Technology announced today that it has scheduled its first quarter 2010 investor conference for Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Detailed conference information will be released after April 14, 2010 on company website http://eng.ralinktech.com.tw/
