Monthly Sales Announcement - May 2010

Ralink Technology (TAIEX: 3534) Monthly Sales Report – May, 2010

Issued by: Ralink Technology
Issued on: 2010/6/8

Hsinchu, Taiwan, June 8, 2010 – Ralink Technology Corp. (TAIEX: 3534) today announced that the total revenue for May 2010 reached NT$671.0 million, up 10.6% MoM and up 64.5% YoY. Aggregated revenue from January to May of 2010 was NT$2,954.8 million, up 84.2% from the same period of last year.

Although the whole technical industry is talking about either double ordering or order cuts in the European PC market, the company stated that because the end applications sold in Europe are mainly AP routers, home gateways and USB dongles, and as customers keep gaining market share in Europe, and considering Ralink’s solid partnership with European local operators, sales outlook remains solid. As of the end of May, Europe has accounted for a significant portion of Ralink’s total shipment, and accordingly has been set as one of the high priorities.

Given a strong demand across all main product lines, the company believes it will follow 2Q guidance with a double digit unit shipment growth, and that the gross margin will remain steady to slightly up.

At the Annual General Meeting for 2010 held last Friday, June 4th, all resolutions were passed including the merger with TrendChip (TAIEX : 3614) and the election of four directors and one supervisor.
